About Us

We are a community of diverse experts in different facets of datascience with the aim of growing the Zimbabwean community . 

We seek to ensure that Zimbabwe and Africa are not left behind by the global technological revolution. We understand that AI is part of our future, and as such we want to push for access to data and to material -tools and aids- that will keep our members’ skills relevant and up to date and ensure that Africa is counted and included in the conversation.

Our Objectives

  • Developing the necessary skills and a capacity to take advantage of global advances in modern and future technology stacks, and use them for sustainable solution building.
  • Facilitating for collaborative partnerships between individuals, private and public entities and academic institutions for the sustainable ideation, research, development and deployment of innovative solutions using data.
  • Influencing public policy on technology across all aspects including education, economy, social development and governance.
